The conductor wires shall not have any joints except for those made on the base wire or rod before final drawing. Insulating Sheath Material - Adherence of insulating sheath to the strain bearing neutral conductors shall be at least equal to 18 daN Also should conform to; a. NFC 33-209 b. IEC502-1994 c.
